These Terms & Conditions govern your use of houseofyusei.com and any purchase or commission placed with Yusei & Co. By placing an order or submitting a commission inquiry, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

All bespoke commissions are non-refundable once confirmed. No exceptions.
All sales are binding
Payment constitutes a binding purchase agreement. Prices are in USD and include the piece or stone only.
Natural stone variation
Diamonds and opals are natural materials. Minor variation from photos is inherent and not a defect.
Authenticity guaranteed
Every stone ships with its original grading certificate from the G.I.A. All pieces are handcrafted by Yusei & Co.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing houseofyusei.com or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or place an order. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time — continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
Orders & Payment
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. We accept payment through Stripe Payments. By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided. We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.
Custom & Bespoke Commissions
Commission inquiries do not constitute a binding order until a formal quote has been issued and a deposit of 25% of total value has been received. Once a commission is confirmed and work has begun, all payments are non-refundable. Custom pieces are designed and fabricated to your specifications — they cannot be resold, repurposed, or returned. Any concerns about craftsmanship must be raised within 7 days of delivery. We will not accept claims after this window.
Deposits
Custom commissions require a non-refundable deposit to begin work. The deposit amount will be stated in your commission quote or at least 25% of full value. The deposit covers stone sourcing, design consultation, and initial fabrication. If you cancel a commission after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is forfeited. The remaining balance is due before the piece ships.
Returns & Refunds
Returns are governed by our Return Policy, available at houseofyusei.com/returns. In summary: diamonds may be returned within 14 days with serial verification; opals and ready-to-wear pieces within 30 days in original condition; custom commissions are non-returnable. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval.
Shipping & Risk of Loss
All shipments are insured and require an adult signature at delivery. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery confirmation. If you refuse delivery or are unavailable to sign after two carrier attempts, you assume responsibility for any resulting delay, loss, or additional shipping charges. Shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.
Natural Stone Variation
Diamonds, opals, and all natural gemstones are products of nature. Color, pattern, inclusions, and play-of-color will vary between stones and may differ from photographs on this site. Such variation is inherent to natural materials and does not constitute a defect or grounds for return. Product photography is as accurate as possible but is not a guarantee of exact appearance.
Authenticity & Certification
All diamonds sold by Yusei & Co. are accompanied by their original grading certificate from the G.I.A. or I.G.I and bear a laser-inscribed micro serial number on the girdle. All opals are sourced directly from verified origins. We do not sell synthetic stones as natural. If you have concerns about the authenticity of a stone, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will arrange independent verification.
Intellectual Property
All content on houseofyusei.com — including photography, design, text, logos, and product imagery — is the exclusive property of Yusei & Co. and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our prior written consent. Commission designs created for clients remain the intellectual property of Yusei & Co. unless explicitly transferred in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yusei & Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or any product purchased from us. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or a purchase shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Chicago, Illinois. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action in connection with any dispute.
